Here are some thoughts I came across in Forbes Magazine and found them to be MLM - Multi-Level Marketing - relevant!
Abraham Lincoln: Quotes about Wealth
That some should be rich, shows that others may become rich, and, hence, is just encouragement to industry and enterprise.
Ralph Waldo Emerson: Quotes about Wealth
The first wealth is health.
Francis Bacon: Quotes about Wealth
The fortune which nobody sees makes a person happy and unenvied.
Regarding Risk
Here are some quotes I heard on the The Big Idea - Donny Deutsch - aired in Phoenix, AZ, June 3rd, 2008:
"The Biggest risk is risk not taken. Change is the progression."
"Bad news creates opportunity."
"Believe in the business cycle."
When spreading the risk by bringing in a new partner, don't dilute the vision.
They also talked about the difference between workers and entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs see past the current problems and situations.
Entrepreneurs should not be risk adverse.
Entrepreneurs should also play into the minds of people who do not like risk by building products and services around that idea by offering a money back guarantee.

Random Thoughts
There are stagnate thoughts and dynamic thoughts.
Examples of old stagnate thoughts would be: I just need to get through this day, week month, year, get to retirement, or whatever.
I just need to get this____ over with, then I don’t have to think about it anymore. The mind closes slowly or is already closed. Finite thinking and not being present in the moment.
Better Ideas:
Do not allow negative thinking erode you as a person.
Never expect anything from anyone. Everything you get is a bonus.
Confusion is the greatest part of failure.
Don't be responsible for anyone as this can immobilize you. You should not go in to the mud with them but try to LEAD them in a better direction.
Here are some dynamic thought examples and these feel even better:
There is no end to developing this web site or developing my multi-level marketing project. This is a good thing! These projects are on-going and forever changing. My mind is expanding. I am growing with my new thoughts and actions. My new thoughts are also being generated by my new experiences and changes. Everything is very open! Infinite, like the universe.
The next time I catch myself thinking a closed in stagnate thought, I will turn it into a dynamic thought. If something unpleasant happens I will think, this is not good, but I will learn something from this and hopefully, carry the knowledge with me forever!
Believe that you can create something that is above and beyond your wildest dreams!
Have a vision, a plan, and a belief in the plan.
Be grateful for all the blessings in your life!
On another note, here is a MLM'er Quiz. Are you a Discouraged MLM’er?:
Check any that apply:
1. Do you feel you are working hard at your business, but not getting anywhere?
2. Are you getting further and further into debt?
3. Do you sense people are avoiding you because they are afraid you will "share” your great business opportunity with them one more time.
4. Have you exhausted your list of leads?
5. Have any of your relationships become “strained” because of your involvement with a MLM?
6. Have you left flyers and business cards everywhere in town, to no avail?
7. Has your “up-line” said over and over again, this is “sharing” not selling? Or used the term “delayed gratification” one too many times?
8. Have you made a special trip to the mall because you haven’t met your goal of talking to someone, anyone, about your business opportunity on that given day? (You mall crawler, you ; -)
9. Are you starting to question the “3 foot rule” proposition? (Unfortunately the word proposition is synonymous with “scheme") The 3 foot rule means you need to share your opportunity with anyone standing within 3 feet of you.
10. Have you spent a pile of money stocking products and now wonder how to move them? (more progressive MLM's will not require you to stock products anymore)
If you checked any of the above questions, you may be interested in, “The 7 Greatest Lies of Network Marketing”. There is extremely helpful information in this FREE e-book, especially for anyone involved with multi-level marketing!
Please don’t be shaken up by the title. I don’t consider these “lies”; just old, ineffective marketing techniques.
If you'd like to learn how to attract pre-qualified leads to you... rather than chasing people down... I highly recommend checking out the break-through new e-book - 'The Renegade Network Marketer'. You'll learn some of the guarded secrets of the MLM industry that were previously only enjoyed by the top 3% of all earners.
I would suggest reading the 7- Lies E-book first and then if you are interested in learning more, download the Renegade Network Marketer (under $70). It is worth its weight in gold. You can even create your own CDs and listen to them while driving or download audio files to your I-Pod.
I can honestly say that after reading these two books, I have a new sense of confidence in pursuing my network marketing business!
