Hint: January 28, 2008, this company, our nation’s number one natural nutrition company, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival as a sponsor of the Green Lodge in Park City, UT. The Green Lodge served as a destination for celebrities and eco-socialites housing a variety of eco-friendly brands and services. This nutritional company featured its line of nontoxic, biodegradable, and hypoallergenic household products. The products are super concentrated in order to reduce shipping and packaging waste. Hint: On June 12th, the 2008 American Business Awards were held in New York City and this company received the 2008 Stevie® Award for the Best Corporate Environmental Responsibility Program. Hint: While governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger planted the millionth tree with this company's CEO on Earth Day as part of the Million Trees. Million Dreams™ campaign. This company partnered with 2004 Nobel Peace Laureate Wangari Maathai to plant a billion trees around the world. Hint: It is a California based, eco-focused℠ (ecology-friendly) MLM (multi level marketing) company that was certified in 2002 as the first Climate Neutral™ company in America with net zero impact on global warming. In order to reduce CO2 emissions, this company also sponsors an electrification project in rural Sri Lanka and replaces boilers in Portland School District. Hint: This MLM company was funded in 1956 by a doctor and his two sons to manufacture nutritional supplements. They were visionary pioneers. I am an independent distributor for Shaklee and have used the products for over 30 years! Eco-Focused℠ provides many article-relevant links to my member area of the the official Shaklee Corporation web site. The links will help you navigate the Shaklee site. A couple links lead to informative and beautifully created Shaklee videos. In addition to building this site and building my Shaklee business, I worked in sales and customer service for a company that services dialysis equipment and heart and lung bypass systems. My hope is that more people adopt healthier habits and avoid visiting these machines! I have two grown daughters, one graduated from Arizona State University; she is an editor and author.
